Fishing Report

 October 2014

It is so wonderful to see Cabo and the fishing scene completely back to normal after Hurricane Odile. The Bisbee Tournaments were a huge success with lots of fish, perfect conditions and the marina humming with excitement as 120+ teams entered the richest fishing tournament in the world. To make matters even better, the top fish was caught by a team representing a local charity named "Casa Hogar". There was not a dry eye in the place as the award was received by the director of this boys orphanage.

The bite was awesome; many Blue Marlin were caught. The Bad Medicine was not in the money, but we had our shot the first morning. We had a 400lb+ fish nearly to the leader when the hook popped. We watched the fish swim away. It was heartbreaking, but that's fishing. We had a great time and enjoyed a great team on board the Bad Med.

Various schools of Tuna are being found, which is a great sign for the upcoming fall Tuna run. Lots of big fish in the 200lb+ range are here. During the Bisbee, we had a difficult time finding Tuna small enough to use for bait for Marlin. Awesome problem to have!

Lots of Dorado are showing on the Pacific side. Wahoo are mixed in there also. Remember to bring your coolers. The bite is on and will only get better as the fall migration progresses.

Get down here and let's roll! Get booked and we look forward to serving you!
